| Source | Operator's own site, not Google Play. The button below takes you there. |
Why it isn't on Google Play
Google Play restricts real-money gambling apps, with rules that differ by country. Most operators therefore distribute their Android app directly. That is normal for this category, but it shifts one responsibility onto you. Google no longer screens the file. This is exactly why we publish the size, version number and permission list of the build we installed, so you can compare them against whatever the operator hands you.
Install it, step by step
- Download the file
Tap the download button on your Android phone. On a stable connection the 54.1 MB file takes roughly 40 seconds to two minutes.
- Open it
Use the download notification, or the Files app in the Downloads folder. Tapping the file starts the system installer.
- Allow the source
Android will warn that installing from this source is blocked. Open the settings it offers and enable the permission for whichever app downloaded the file, usually your browser. Since Android 8 this permission is per-app, not system-wide.
- Confirm
Go back and tap Install. It takes 20 to 60 seconds. If Play Protect offers to scan the file, let it.
Open the app and log in, or register. Balance and history are stored server-side, so everything appears immediately.
- Turn the permission back off
Optional but sensible. The installed app keeps working, and you close a door that no longer needs to be open.
Check the file before you open it
This takes under a minute. The check that matters most happens earlier: start from the operator's own page rather than an aggregator. After that, three quick checks confirm the file is the one you expect.
- Size. It must read 54.1 MB. A gap of several megabytes means a different file.
- SHA-256 fingerprint. If the operator publishes one for the current build, work out the hash of your file with a checksum utility and compare the two character by character. It is the strictest check available, but only when a reference value exists.
- Play Protect. Let it scan during installation. A generic "installed from outside the store" notice is expected. An explicit malware warning is not.
APK aggregator sites and messaging groups offering "modded" or "premium unlocked" builds are the main source of infected files in this category. The official app is already free and complete, so there is nothing to unlock. What those files add is code nobody asked for. If a file requests permission to read your SMS, access your contacts, or become a device administrator, it is not the official app.
Deposits and withdrawals in Somalia
Mobile wallets are the dominant payment route. Deposits are effectively instant; withdrawals vary by provider and by whether your account is verified.
| Method | Network | Deposit | Withdrawal |
|---|---|---|---|
| EVC Plus | Hormuud | Instant | Same day, typically under 24 h |
| Zaad | Telesom | Instant | Usually within a day |
| Sahal | Somtel | Instant | Up to a day and a half |
| eDahab | Somtel | Instant | Up to a day and a half |
| Card | Visa / Mastercard | 1–5 minutes | 1–3 business days |
Indicative timings for a verified account. An incomplete verification file adds several days regardless of method.
Do not repeat the transaction. The debit has usually gone through, and a second attempt just doubles what you have committed. Keep the confirmation SMS from your mobile money provider: it carries the transaction reference, timestamp and amount, and it is the only document support can actually work with. A screenshot of your balance is not enough.
Three rules that prevent almost every payment problem
- Withdraw through the method you deposited with. This is a regulatory requirement, not a preference. Requests to a different channel go to manual review.
- Complete verification before requesting a withdrawal, not after. This single habit removes the most common cause of delay.
- Use a wallet registered in your own name. Depositing from a relative's number blocks the withdrawal at verification, and that is rarely recoverable.
Network performance
Roughly four in five users reach the platform over mobile data rather than Wi-Fi, so the network matters as much as the app. Core functions (registration, deposits, opening the betting list, launching games) worked across every network tested. Differences showed up mainly in live betting and video streaming.
Mogadishu and Hargeisa. Fastest odds refresh, streams play smoothly.
Somaliland. Slightly slower refresh; occasional buffering when the signal drops.
Puntland. Casino games run fine; live streaming over 3G can lag.
The app includes a data saver mode that cuts mobile data use substantially. On a limited bundle it is worth switching on during the first session rather than after the data runs out.
iPhone and desktop
APK files do not work on iOS. The format is Android-only, and any site offering "the APK for iPhone" has got it wrong. On iPhone, use the App Store version, or install the mobile site to your home screen from Safari via Share › Add to Home Screen. That second option is the cleanest workaround if the listing is not available in your regional store.
There is also a Windows desktop client of roughly 100 MB for Windows 7 and later, downloadable from the operator's own site. All versions share a single account and balance. Deposit on the phone and the funds show up on the desktop seconds later.
Licence and age limit
The platform operates under an international Curaçao licence. Somalia has no national gambling regulator, so services are provided under that international framework. This is worth knowing before opening an account: an offshore licence imposes real obligations (identity verification, anti-money-laundering checks) but offers narrower recourse than European regulators.
Access is restricted to people aged 18 and over, and age is checked during identity verification. Betting carries a real risk of financial loss and can become addictive. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose, and never borrowed money. See our responsible gambling page.
Common questions
Android blocks installs from outside Google Play by default. The message means your browser does not yet have permission to install. It does not mean the file is dangerous. Open the settings the warning offers, enable the permission for that app, then retry.
An app with the same name but a different signing key is already on the device, usually a build from a third-party site. Uninstall it completely, then install again. Your account and balance are unaffected; they live on the server.
No. The new build installs over the old one and keeps your account, balance, open bets and settings. Do not uninstall first. That would only force you to sign in again and lose your local preferences.
Yes, and you should. One account works on Android, iPhone, desktop and browser, with balance and history synced. Creating a second account is prohibited and is a common cause of blocked funds.
Three causes cover most cases: identity verification is incomplete, the withdrawal was requested to a different channel than the deposit, or a bonus wagering requirement is still active and locking the balance.
No, none of them. Each round's outcome is determined before the round starts, from cryptographic seeds, and no external software can read or influence it. These services give a few free "predictions" that land by chance, then charge a subscription. Some ask for your account credentials, which ends in theft of the balance. Using third-party software is also grounds for permanent account closure.
